Privacy Notice

Last updated: June 13, 2026

This Privacy Notice explains the handling of information used by the ChessLive Move Delay website, setup utility, processing engine, and related event services.

Information you provide

Organizer registration and event activation may include organizer name, contact name, email address, event name, assigned PGN filename, event identifiers, and broadcast URL. The setup utility also stores configuration information locally on the Windows computer where it is used.

Technical information

The service may process technical information needed to activate events, authorize PGN uploads, diagnose errors, protect the service, and maintain server records. Event upload tokens are stored on the server as one-way hashes rather than readable plain-text tokens.

How information is used

Information is used to register organizers, reserve and reconnect event PGN filenames, authorize uploads, provide broadcast URLs, support users, maintain service reliability, and investigate misuse or technical problems.

PGN and broadcast information

PGN files uploaded for an active event are intended for public broadcast through the assigned URL. Do not include information in a PGN broadcast that you are not authorized to publish.

Sharing

InfoAspect does not sell organizer contact email information. Information may be handled by hosting and technical service providers as necessary to operate and secure the service.

Retention and cleanup

Organizer, event, activation, and technical records may be retained while needed to operate the service, support event continuity, prevent filename conflicts, investigate problems, or meet applicable obligations. Old or deleted event records and broadcast files may be removed during administrative cleanup.

Security

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service or local computer configuration can be guaranteed completely secure. Users should protect their Windows account, configuration files, event tokens, and source credentials.

Your choices

You may contact InfoAspect LLC to ask about organizer or event information associated with your email address, subject to appropriate verification and operational requirements.
